Motorhomes fit into four different categories - Diesel Pusher, Class A, C and B. Determining what is a comfortable fit greatly depends on your travel needs and budget. The following are listed in order of their general price level.

Diesel Pusher

Also referred to as a "Pusher", these are motorhomes with the diesel engine mounted in the rear of the vehicle. They are at the top of the price chart and rightly so. Most offer spacious layouts and unequalled attention to detail on luxury options.

Class A

Class A motorhomes are rectangular in appearance. The living quarters and driving compartment are built over top of an RV chassis. Class A's range from 96" to 102" wide and can be rather tall. The amenities include self-contained bathroom, kitchen, dining area, living room, and bedroom. Class A's handle more like a car.

Class C

The Class C is a truck chassis with an RV unit built on it. The sleeping area is over the driver/passenger unit. It contains all the lifestyle amenities as the Class A, but generally on a more limited scale. The Class C is often used to tow a boat or motorcycle, and can tow a car.

Class B

The Class B is built on a van chassis with a raised roof. Class B's are smaller, compact, and very easy to drive. They contain lifestyle amenities similar to Class A, but usually on a smaller scale.
